I Shall Call Him, Mini-Nuke
Apparently, in five years’ time you could buy your very own miniature nuclear reactor thanks to Hyperion, a company based in New Mexico, USA. The diminutive power plants are only 6 meters in diameter and will be placed underground, encased in concrete. Hyperion’s CEO John Deal claims a Chernobyl-type scenario is impossible because there “are no moving parts”. What a bummer, just when I was planning to soak up some radiation and show up as the glowing version of The Joker for Halloween.
