Bullet Time Gone Wild
This ad for Toshiba televisions takes the epic visual effects wizardry of Neo dodging bullets in The Matrix and goes utterly postal. While still cameras were used to shoot the 360 degree action in the famous sci-fi film, 200 HD camcorders were used to capture the scene in this ad.
Loaded onto a half ton rig, the camcorders spat out 20 terabytes of data (that’s about 20 million snapshots) and required 700 hours of computer processing time.
